Pay is DOE: $25-$35+/hour

*The pay range offered to the successful candidate will be determined by various factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific details and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Civil Drafter Job Responsibilities:
  • AutoCAD drafting support for engineers and land use planners
  • Prepare detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects using AutoCAD under the specific direction and supervision of a Civil Engineer
  • Assist in research for permitting and design standards
  • Maintain and manage project files, records, and databases in accordance with company filing and drafting standards
  • Preparation of various exhibits and presentation materials to support project proposals
  • Plan review for conformance with company and jurisdictional requirements

Civil Drafter Job Requirements:
  • 0-5+ years of experience of Civil Drafting with AutoCAD
  • Associate degree or Certification of Completion from a reputable Trade School with an emphasis on drafting technology is preferred, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • A desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goals
  • Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service
