In this role, you’ll be at the center of AWS’s sales strategy, partnering directly with the Worldwide SAP go-to-market team to optimize the investments and drive revenue and users. You’ll collaborate with senior Sales, Business Development, and Finance leaders to build financial plans, analyze large-scale investment opportunities, develop new go-to-market strategies, and identify opportunities for business growth. You will play key roles in both running the day-to-day business and helping drive strategic growth for the future.
You are a well-rounded performer and will play an impactful role on the team. You demonstrate excellent business judgment and problem solving, and possess strong attention to detail.
Key job responsibilities- Serve as the key finance partner supporting the SAP leaders providing financial support and business insights
- Thought leadership to identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance processes
- Provide industry and segment analysis to develop go-to-market strategies for new and existing services
- Create and implement business mechanisms that are scalable to help the team make data-driven decisions
- Lead the development of financial models and advanced analytical tools that aid in key decision making
- Build rhythm of the business processes that help business leaders understand progress to goals as well as strategic insights to guide overall direction
- Collect, analyze and present data-driven research that challenges status quo and champion change
- Perform ad-hoc analysis proactively and present findings to senior leadership

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
