Role Overview:

Trellix is seeking a Majors Account Executive in the Southeast to join our team of incredible cybersecurity professionals. The Majors Account Executive cultivates new account relationships and business opportunities for Trellix targeting large, enterprise accounts within a specified geographic territory. You will report directly to the Regional Director of Sales. You will work with a well-resourced team and sell in and deploy Trellix's revolutionary security strategy, being a key contributor to Trellix’s success.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the business by meeting and exceeding your assigned quota.
  • Build new accounts in your territory, maximizing opportunities which will consistently yield both short-and long-term revenue.
  • Build future sales pipelines through the demonstration of deep account and territory planning.
  • Introduce Trellix's products as the best security solutions for your customers.
  • Build relationships within client accounts at every level. Engage with senior decision makers and influencers, discussing the impact of our strategy and solutions.
  • Explore multiple technology solutions and alternative product offerings for clients, gaining the support and acceptance of all parties.
  • Provide sales experience through high impact presentations, sales conference calls, new customer engagements and technical product demonstrations, both virtually and in-person.
  • Partner with important teams (Product, Engineering, Sales Operations, Legal, etc.) and their leadership, in closing complex networking-security opportunities at the C-level.
  • Understand important financial metrics and their meaning to your overall goal completion and ability to forecast pipeline activity.
  • Become an expert in your domain, developing appropriate technical expertise and understanding of your solutions, competitors, and the industry.
Requirements:
  • Successful background in selling security-focused software and cloud solutions to large enterprise organizations.
  • Experience as a trusted advisor to an executive level audience providing complex security-based solutions.
  • Proven customer-centric selling experience aimed at increasing revenues, building lasting value, and providing long-term solutions.
  • Direct selling experience that produces new account relationships, increases opportunities in existing accounts, and drives quota completion.
  • Existing relationships, established contacts, and intimate knowledge of our customers' current challenges and needs.
  • Deep knowledge of networking topologies and technologies our customers are using.
  • Success working in a multi-tiered, multi-divisional sales organization.
  • Experience closing seven-figure deals and a history of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Ability to adjust communication style to fit the appropriate audience, making complex issues easy to understand.
  • Responsibility for solving customer problems and ensuring commitments to customers are met.
  • 10+ years of combined experience in a high technology and/or information security environment.
Compensation:

This position is paid (in part) on a commission basis. The Base Pay Range is $125,000 – $175,000. The On Target Earnings (OTE) Range (base pay plus on target commission) is $275,000 – $325,000. Actual base pay within the Base Pay Range and actual OTE within the OTE Range will depend on various circumstances, including work location, individual qualifications, company budget, and other operational business needs. Compensation may also include long-term incentives, subject to various metrics and company policy.
