About the Role:
Join CRU’s market-leading Steel team as a US Ferroalloys Price Discovery Specialist. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving accurate and reliable price assessments in the US ferroalloys market. You’ll collaborate closely with a global team of experts, contribute insightful market updates, and build a strong network of industry contacts, playing a crucial role in developing and maintaining our pricing benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities:- Grow and maintain a robust network for price assessment, connecting with key industry contacts.
- Conduct thorough price discovery and assessment for US ferroalloys, delivering accurate and timely data.
- Gather, organise, and share market intelligence across the team and the wider business.
- Create compelling written market updates and analysis.
- Respond to evolving market needs, providing key input on pricing benchmarks.
- Establish market prices and develop informed, authoritative market views through high-frequency contact with a broad network of industry participants.
- Bachelors Degree
- Strong experience in price discovery and assessment.
- Proven track record of network building and relationship management.
- Deep understanding of commodity pricing mechanisms, ideally within the US ferroalloys or broader steel markets.
- Familiarity with commodity supply chains, industry structures, and competitive landscapes.
- Skilled in creating insightful market analysis for a range of audiences.
