About the Role:

The District Manager is responsible for championing the Clever Bee Academy purpose in their territory which leads to the achievement of Clever Bee Academy’s business objectives (Quality, Growth, Team) in their defined geography. The District Manager provides direct leadership to the Academy Directors with the expectations that Clever Bee Academy’s quality brand is consistently implemented across all locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer and Results driven
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
  • 2-3 Years experience as a high performing multi-site leaders of sales and/or service organization
  • Project management skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel extensively throughout assigned region
  • Ability to effectively read, write, and communicate the English language. Bilingualism is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 30 Credits - Early Childhood Education
  • 2-3 Years experience as a high performing multi-site leader of sales and/or service organization
  • Experience implementing QRIS to achieve highest quality credentialing in the centers they were responsible for
  • Experience in leading a Early Childhood Education and Childcare Center
  • Experience managing vision/purpose

Responsibilities:

Customer Focus

  • Embodies Clever Bee Academy's values, fostering strong community relationships through positive interactions, while prioritizing the well-being of children and families in decision-making.
  • Understands the competitive landscape and leverages unique market advantages.
  • Ensures academy sites are clean, safe, and meet health and safety standards.
  • Stays informed on best practices in early childhood development and professional growth.
  • Creates an exceptional learning environment that exceeds customer expectations.
  • Recognizes the impact of personal appearance, body language, and tone on staff, children, and families.

Financial/Quality Operations

  • Manages business portfolios, ensuring licensing standards and customer acquisition/retention.
  • Monitors performance to identify trends and best practices, advising on business and operational improvements.
  • Oversees Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) to maintain top-tier accreditation.
  • Ensures financial goals and budget targets are met, analyzing trends and variances for operational adjustments.
  • Maintains zero accounts receivable balance and ensures accurate financial reporting.
  • Controls expenses to meet profitability goals while aligning with budget expectations.

Process

  • Ensures adherence to policies, procedures, and standardization across all Academies.
  • Coordinates with functional leaders (e.g., Education, Marketing, HR) to align on operational plans.
  • Implements high-quality curriculum to drive student success.
  • Anticipates trends and integrates them into actionable plans.
  • Optimizes tools and processes for efficient operations while empowering team members.
  • Ensures compliance with laws and regulations, proactively managing risk.
