The Role

The IT Director provides oversight, leadership, and strategic direction for the IT department at evolvedMD. As the IT Director, you will ensure the seamless integration of all aspects of the evolvedMD IT Strategy/Plan, coordinating between internal and external stakeholders, and executing innovative strategies company-wide. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering creative solutions, with a customer service mindset, and adapt to priorities, ensuring that evolvedMD is agile, responsive, and pro-active in meeting its technology needs.

Location

This position is based out of evolvedMD's corporate headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000
  • $1,200 annual technology allowance
  • 401(k) company match up to 3%

Generous PTO which includes 80 hours of vacation, 40 hours of sick leave, seven paid holidays, PLUS Winter Break (the last week of December). For those in the military reserves we offer 80 hours of paid military leave, and after one year of employment we offer 80 hours of Parental Leave for each birth/adoption.

Your Experience, Background, and Skills

  • Compassionate about the delivery of "Whole Patient Care, Upfront and Ongoing."
  • An open and collaborative mindset strongly rooted in passion and integrity.
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, related field or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years professional IT experience with progressive leadership experience.
  • Deep knowledge of cloud solutions, network management, and virtual environments.
  • Experience with HIPAA and healthcare-specific security requirements.
  • Ability to act as leader, manager, and individual contributor.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects and working with various stakeholders to deliver results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Oversight and Project Management Lead the development and implementation of IT initiatives by outlining a strategic plan, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Vendor Management Oversee the outsourced Help Desk vendor, ensuring service-level agreements (SLAs) are met, quality of service is maintained, and issues are escalated and resolved efficiently.
  • Security and Compliance Follow regulatory and corporate protocols to ensure that HIPAA security protocols are met. The IT Director will work closely with evolvedMD's Compliance Officer as well as customer external security specialists to ensure all regulations, protocols and audits meet standards.
  • Infrastructure Management Oversee the development and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including cloud services, virtual desktop solutions, mobile device management, etc.
  • User Experience Enhancements Collaborate with internal departments, external customers, and individual users to collect feedback and guide improvements to the IT strategy.
  • Budget Management Monitor the IT budget and ensure funds are allocated effectively to meet strategic goals, balancing between software, hardware, and outsourced services.
  • Stakeholder Communication Act as the liaison between IT operations, senior leadership, and staff to ensure alignment with business goals.

Your Key Collaborators

  • Vice President, Commercial Operations – Executive over implementation, business intelligence and information technology.
  • Clinical Directors – Responsible for oversight of clinical teams within their assigned market/regions.
  • Implementation Team – Responsible for onboarding of new customers and acting as a conduit between evolvedMD + individual customer departments.
  • External MSP Vendor – Responsible for Tier I-III Help Desk support, as well as supporting strategic initiatives.
