Florida Marketing Manager

With this in mind, we are hiring a Marketing Manager for Terracon’s offices in our Florida division. You will be a part of a growing, prosperous region of engineers, scientists, and project professionals. We work on exciting projects in a variety of market sectors. of all sizes.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience with developing marketing plans and communicating marketing vision and progress to leadership. You will develop and support the division’s marketing strategies through market research, thought leadership, marketing planning, and more. Additionally, this role requires strong leadership, organization, and strategic marketing skills. You should have marketing experience in the A/E/C industry and experience responding to various types of proposal requests and SOQs. Experience leading a team is strongly desired.

This position can be based out of our Winter Park, Tampa, Jacksonville or Fort Lauderdale offices.

Essential Role and Responsibilities:
  • An emphatic, collaborative leader who can influence and inspire others, and brings a deep understanding of pursuit leadership, client engagement, and A/E/C marketing best practices.
  • A team leader who produces and coordinates Go/No-Go meetings, proposal, and presentation preparation, conducts reviews, and works with technical champions to ensure quality proposal material is delivered on schedule.
  • Works with other marketing professionals to share company-wide best practices and inter-divisional information sharing and collaborates with our corporate marketing and communications team.
  • Supports the division with business planning through market research, prioritizes marketing efforts to drive division growth, champions change initiatives, and effectively communicates progress with leadership.
  • Ensures that marketing material produced (branding, key messages, qualifications, etc.) aligns with our branding and is accurate, timely, and well-written.
  • Takes ownership of CRM updates, training, and reporting at a division-wide level.
  • Works with the Client Development professionals, Regional Managers, and pursuit teams to develop strategy and Project/Client Capture Plans.
  • Event planning and industry outreach, including leading strategy for tradeshow participation, thought leadership opportunities, and targeted marketing communications.
  • Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite and strong writing skills.
  • Follows safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related degree and 5+ years’ marketing and communications experience. Alternatively, in lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related experience.
  • Prior experience with private and public agency proposal submittals/SOQs within the A/E/C industry.
Preferred:
Preferred 10+ years of experience
Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) Certification
