Position Overview
The Licensed Residential Electrician will be responsible for providing top-notch electrical services to homeowners, ensuring safety, efficiency, and satisfaction. This role requires a valid electrician license, strong technical skills, and a customer-centric approach to service. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance, along with excellent communication skills and a commitment to upholding industry standards and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of residential electrical services, including installations, repairs, and maintenance of wiring, lighting fixtures, outlets, and electrical panels.
- Diagnose electrical issues accurately using advanced tools and techniques and recommend effective solutions to homeowners.
- Adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards to ensure compliance and prevent accidents.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including explaining electrical issues to homeowners, presenting service options, and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, labor hours, and homeowner communication.
- Collaborate with team members and dispatchers to coordinate service calls, prioritize tasks, and meet client needs and expectations.
- Stay informed about industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
- Residential, Journeyman or Master Electrician License Required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed residential electrician, with a proven track record of success in residential electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential electrical systems, equipment, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with homeowners and team members.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced residential environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
