Job Overview

EVRAZ North America is seeking a skilled Mill Electrical Technician to join our team at our plant in Pueblo, Colorado. As a Mill Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for providing electrical, electronic, and combustion-instrumentation maintenance to all areas of the mill in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Electric Shop, Combustion Lab, and Electronic Shop to ensure seamless operations and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Collaborate with maintenance personnel to complete tasks and projects, and provide support as needed.
  • Operate overhead cranes and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements
  • Must have completed a craft apprenticeship in one of the following three crafts: Combustion-Instrumentation Technician, Electronic Repairman, and Electrical Inspector (Maintenance Electrician).
  • 1-3 years of experience as an electrician in heavy industry, manufacturing, or mining, with a focus on machinery operation and equipment maintenance.
  • Valid Colorado license and mobile equipment qualification.
  • Strong troubleshooting, repair, and installation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
