Remote, United States Brooksource Full time
*Product Manager*
*Remote (EST Time Zone)*
*Contract to Hire*

Brooksource is searching for a technically skilled Product Manager to join our client's Supply Chain Technology organization. This role will collaborate closely with the Purchase Order Management Engineering team and various business stakeholders to formulate and prioritize project plans, write detailed technical requirements, and oversee successful execution. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the chance to transition into a full-time role.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Act as a bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements and product priorities.
* Partner with backend engineering teams on a daily basis to ensure project milestones are met and to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
* Write clear, concise technical requirements and user stories that drive effective development and meet business needs.
* Conduct independent querying and data analysis to gain insights and help inform product decisions.
* Continuously manage and groom product backlogs, ensuring that features and user stories are well-defined and prioritized according to business value.
* Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring it aligns with agile development processes and team needs.
* Lead issue management, feature prioritization, and roadmap planning, adjusting as necessary based on team capacity and stakeholder feedback.

*Requirements:*
* *2+ years of experience* as a Product Manager with a focus on creating detailed technical requirements and user stories for software development teams.
* *3+ years of experience* working in an agile environment, directly with software development teams—ideally with non-customer-facing, backend-focused teams.
* Strong ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements, ensuring alignment between technical teams and business goals.
* *Hands-on technical knowledge* with a demonstrated ability to query databases or work with data to inform product development (e.g., using SQL or similar tools).
* Proven track record of creating detailed documentation, diagrams, and project plans that support agile development and ensure clear communication with engineering teams.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
