Senior Relationship Banker

Primary Responsibilities:
Quickly process routine and complex financial transactions for members including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, and cashier’s checks, while ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal procedures
Establish and maintain member deposit and loan accounts including businesses, trusts fiduciary, and IRA accounts
Provide the highest quality of member service by promptly addressing member concerns and escalate to leadership when appropriate
Proactively identify and recommend the best products and services to meet the members’ financial needs and partner with service teams including insurance, investments, Premier, and mortgage
Meet quarterly metrics and service objectives (i.e. campaigns, cross-selling, and referrals), alongside sales targets, and incentives to help drive and execute on key business goals and initiatives
Complete required compliance training within well-defined timelines and utilize available resources to maintain in depth current knowledge of all current credit union products and services
Perform account maintenance activities including updating member contact and personal information
Lead business development activities including SEG onsite events, member follow-up, and outbound calls
Mentor representatives on a day-to-day basis and partner with branch leadership in the onboarding of new FSRs
Act as manager on duty in the absence of a leader/both leaders to support with operations, escalations and opening/ closing of the store.
Experience and Education Requirement:
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum three (3) years in a fast-paced sales or customer service role within the financial services industry preferred
Ability to listen to members’ needs and provide tailored product recommendations
Excellent listening skills with the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to express ideas concisely and logically
Demonstrated effective time management skills and the ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
Skilled to work in fast-paced customer service and sales environment without sacrificing accuracy and service
Aptitude for learning a variety of computer systems using technology to solve member issues
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills with attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Certification/License: Notary preferred
Location: Ronler Acres (RA4) Onsite Experience Center - Hillsboro, OR 97124 | Hours for this location are Monday - Friday from 7AM - 3PM
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $25.96 - $31.73 per hour plus quarterly incentive
