*Key Responsibilities of the Interventional Radiology Technologist*

Your role as an Interventional Radiology Technologist includes:
* *Performing Procedures:* Assisting with procedures like angiography, embolization, biopsies, drainages, stent placements, and venous access.
* *Patient Preparation:* Preparing and comforting patients before and during procedures, explaining the process to reduce anxiety.
* *Operating Imaging Equipment:* Ensuring clear, high-quality diagnostic images.
* *Administering Contrast Agents:* Following protocols to administer contrast materials and medications safely.
* *Collaborating with Professionals:* Partnering with physicians, radiologists, and other team members to achieve precise diagnoses and treatments.
* *Documentation:* Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
* *Compliance:* Adhering to hospital policies, safety standards, and quality protocols.
* *Continuous Learning:* Keeping current with advancements in interventional radiology technology and techniques.

*Requirements of the Interventional Radiology Technologist:*

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:
* BLS Certification
* ARRT Certification
* NJ License
* 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
