*Position - Interventional Radiology Technician (13 weeks contract)*
*Location: Morristown, NJ, 07960*
*Payrate - $65-$70 hourly*

*Schedule: *5-days a week shifts vary based on department needs with weekend & weekday on-call requirements

*Duties*
* Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
* Strong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
* The ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
* The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
* The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
* Strong communication skills using closed loop communication
* The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load
* Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons
* Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra/PACs system
* Groin management post intervention
* Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast-paced environment
* BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures
* Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state (defined in above JD.)
* This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist (CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities.

*Skills*
3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with *NJ radiographic licensure*

*Education*

Required Education: -High School Diploma/GED. -Associate degree. OR -Completion of accredited radiographic program.

*Required Certifications & Licensure: -*
* NJ radiographic licensure.
* BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures.
* Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Monday to Friday
