Job Summary As a Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist at Norman Regional Health System, you will be responsible for preparing equipment and providing patient care during cardiovascular procedures. This role requires maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with a team of cardiologists.
About Us Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the heart of Oklahoma. Our innovative cardiovascular program is accredited by several top organizations, including the American College of Cardiology Chest Pain Center with PCI and Resuscitation Accreditation. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and have a highly qualified team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
Responsibilities Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
IDentify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
Maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Requirements Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification.
Previous Procedural Area experience is preferred.
American Registry of Radiologic Technology registration and/or RCIS certification, as well as Basic Life Support training or re-training prior to providing patient care.
Compensation The estimated salary for this role is $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
