Career Opportunity at Norman Regional Health System

Norman Regional Health System is a community hospital system nestled in the Oklahoma City metro area, renowned for its innovative cardiovascular program.

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Technologist to join our esteemed team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment in our new Critical Care Tower, featuring three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare medical equipment before and during procedures.
  • Identify and assess patient condition, providing appropriate care and positioning.
  • Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict protocols.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, ensuring seamless onboarding.
  • Utilize downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and performing delegated tasks assigned by the Charge person or manager.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiographic Program or Cardiovascular Program.
  • Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registered with the Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS.
  • Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Life Support certification must be achieved within six months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous experience.
