Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Job Summary: The radiologic technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. They operate X-ray equipment, positioning patients for optimal image quality and ensuring their safety during the procedure. Responsibilities: Operate X-ray units to produce high-quality images under the supervision of a radiologist Position patients for optimal image quality Ensure patient safety during the procedure Assist with room setup and keep patient care areas well stocked Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and other tasks as needed Requirements: Education: Graduate from an approved school of radiologic technology High school diploma or equivalent Experience: 1+ year of clinical experience in radiology Clinical radiology experience preferred Certifications & Licensures: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current, valid Texas driver's license Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT)- Temporary General Certificate from the State of Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General Certificate from the State of Texas The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T.
