Job Title: CT Technologist - Radiology
Location: Main Campus 7043, San Angelo, TX 76903
Duration: 13 weeks / 36 hrs per week

Education:
High School Diploma
Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology, Program of Study: Radiologic Technology

Experience:
Clinical Radiology: Preferred, 2 years of experience preferred

Certifications & Licenses:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Required
  • Current, Valid Texas Driver's License: Required
  • Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas: Required
  • The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Radiography R.T. (R): Required
  • The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Computed Tomography (CT): Required
Additional Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during CT scans.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
  • Operate CT equipment and monitor patients during scans to ensure high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic images.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Follow proper safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Stay updated on advances in CT technology and participate in ongoing education and training.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in operating CT & Radiology equipment and related technology.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
