Job Summary: We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in the esports and entertainment industry. This role is critical to growing our business by identifying, developing, and securing strategic partnerships and sponsorship deals that drive revenue and elevate brand visibility. Additionally, this candidate will be responsible for selling the content created by Allied Esports, positioning our productions as prime platforms for sponsor integration and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the esports ecosystem and a proven track record in business development, sales, and relationship management within the gaming and entertainment sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sponsorship Sales: Identify, engage, and secure sponsorships with brands, agencies, and partners within esports, gaming, and entertainment, positioning Allied Esports as the premier platform for brand integration.
    • Develop and implement comprehensive sponsorship and sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the esports & entertainment industry and related sectors.
    • Create customized sponsorship packages that align with partner objectives and deliver value.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective sponsors, leading negotiations and ensuring smooth contract execution that aligns with both sponsor and company goals.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand sponsorship opportunities and maximize revenue across Allied Esports’ live events, productions, and content platforms.
  • Content Sales: Drive sponsorship and partnership opportunities for existing content created by Allied Esports, presenting it as a valuable marketing tool for brands looking to reach the esports audience.
  • Brand Integration: Collaborate with marketing, production, and events teams to create customized sponsorship packages that align with partner objectives, ensuring maximum exposure and engagement across events and content.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive sponsorship activations, and new opportunities within the esports and entertainment landscape.
  • Pitching & Presentations: Lead the creation and delivery of high-impact presentations to potential partners, highlighting Allied Esports’ unique audience insights, value propositions, and activation opportunities.
  • Event & Content Sponsorship: Work closely with event teams to secure sponsors for major tournaments, live events, and branded activations, as well as content partnerships, ensuring a high return on investment for partners.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for sponsors, ensuring successful delivery of sponsorship rights, seamless activation, and post-event follow-up to foster long-term relationships.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Track and report on key sales metrics, deal progress, and sponsorship performance to leadership and stakeholders, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or similar roles, with a preference for candidates in esports, gaming, or entertainment.
  • Proven success in closing high-value sponsorship deals and managing long-term partnerships.
  • Established network within the esports, gaming, or entertainment sectors is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to creatively identify partnership opportunities and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver compelling sponsorship proposals.
  • Passion for esports and entertainment, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of esports ecosystems, competitive gaming, and emerging industry trends.
  • Familiarity with digital content platforms such as Twitch and YouTube, as well as social media marketing.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales tracking tools.
