SUMMARY:

We have an immediate opening for a Family Developer. The Family Developer is responsible for providing support services to both English and Spanish speaking families seeking to foster and adopt a child, oversee all family documentation for compliance with government regulations, organize and maintain documentation and files for families. They will provide office, clerical, staff and program support and serve as front office reception.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field or an equivalent degree or equivalent experience. They will have fluency and the ability to translate in both written and spoken Spanish and English, and able to communicate effectively with families from all backgrounds. Candidate must be very detail-oriented with strong organizational, systems-management and writing skills; able to work independently within the position’s scope, compliance structures, and established systems; and has strong computer skills, including comfort with Word, Excel, Google Suite, and ability to learn new databases.  The successful candidate will be able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment with consistent accuracy, attention to detail, organization, prioritization and confidentiality.  Ability to frequently remain in a stationary position, at a workstation. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.  Ability to frequently type and use a computer. Commitment to the mission of Family Builders.
