About the Role

Seneca Family of Agencies is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing students and developing their fine and gross motor skills, posture, and movement. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to empower students on their learning journey.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct occupational therapy initial assessments and reassessments for children with occupational therapy needs
  • Document evaluations in a thorough and professional manner
  • Provide in-depth occupational therapy consultation for teachers, providing professional insights for early OT interventions for their students
  • Provide occupational therapy services to students in support of their needs and treatment goals
  • Work collaboratively with other Seneca staff members, including Speech and Language Pathologists, Special Education Teachers, School Psychologists, Clinicians, and Student Support Assistants
  • Assist in providing in-service training in gross and fine motor skills, sensory motor regulations, as well as posture and movement to parents, teachers, administrators, and other professionals
  • Assist in coordinating, communicating, and seeking consultation with community agencies as appropriate
Qualifications

Required qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, current licensure by the California Board of Occupational Therapy, proof of liability insurance, experience with language techniques, sensory motor integration, and physical restoration, a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies' insurance policy, TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements, and proof of up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.
