General Summary

The Manager, Key Account executes TSH’s Ecommerce growth strategy, advances the company’s Ecommerce presence in pure play and brick and mortar accounts while developing the online channel in all functional sales capabilities, including: Product availability, Pricing, Shopper Marketing, and Customer development, as well as serve as a performance expert including ePOS trends, post e-promotion analysis, optimal e-assortment and seasonal/promotional guidance.

This position will have account responsibility for Classic Accessories key accounts.

Primary / Key Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Build and implement the go-to-market strategy, by Channel – Collaborate with customers and internal teams for effective product assortment, e-shelf merchandising, and promotions and pricing recommendations
  • Key point of contact / ownership of each Ecommerce expansion project (internal and external partners) – align internal goals & lead customer joint business planning
  • Plan and execute key item promotional strategy to align with customer event calendars/deliver sales plan
  • Coordinate growth effort across all key stakeholders – driving key projects to deliver growth with local teams / consolidate and communicate Ecommerce customer financial outlook
  • Responsible for ongoing plan optimization – scoping business opportunities for internal review as well as ensure flawless execution with the local customer partners
  • Monitor the competitors' brands and products as well as our market share, competitor market share, and target market share to understand shopper trends and opportunities and communicate to appropriate sales and trade management.
  • Negotiate and manage trade funds to create customer and company value by consistently measuring and enforcing trade terms and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop reporting standards and metrics to communicate performance to the team and upper-level management (POS analytics, collection, analysis, communication)
  • Determine SKU placement across online sales channels to maximize results
  • Develop best practice to maximize Return on Marketing Investment
  • Use tactical skills, experience, and talents to deliver innovative thinking for the website product line experiences
  • Partner with digital content team to develop the immediate and ongoing content and marketing support strategy
  • Manage catalog changes, navigate shipping challenges, troubleshooting, and provide proactive issue resolution
  • Coordinate and leads cross functional teams (EDI, Finance, Operations, Marketing, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Education and/or Experience and Qualifications

Minimum Education: bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business Administration or similar field, Master’s Degree (MBA) a plus

Minimum Experience: Four to six (4-6) years’ experience in working in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG), fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) and/or consumer durable goods industry driving business with key strategic customers. Two (2) years Ecommerce experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven analytical and strategic experience with the ability to embrace the challenge of dramatically increasing Ecommerce revenue
  • Strong understanding of financial profitability metrics in order to plan new item prices and promotional event pricing profitably/in line with targets
  • Proven track record as a strong leader that delivers against business objectives
  • Experience working within the ecommerce industry
  • Strong decision-making skills with an understanding of where projects fit into overall Company and development strategies
  • Deep knowledge of Ecommerce product flow and web store performance optimization
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across lines of business
  • Strong quantitative ability and comfort with data driven decision processes; a strong understanding of the key metrics to drive the business is expected of this executive
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to operate independently given direction, and bring ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Interpersonal savvy; an ability to effectively work with and connect with all levels of employees across multiple functions and geographies
  • Detail-oriented, operationally focused, strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience developing or driving a business
