Our Civil Construction Client in Denver is looking for their next technical sales superstar who has direct utility and municipality relationships IN COLORADO. Please carefully look through the essential duties and make sure your experience aligns.

Summary of Role: Account manager is responsible to leverage and guide them through the process of change. Work collaboratively to integrate these technologies into the management of their critical utility systems. The account manager will conduct field demonstrations, generate budgetary estimates, secure contracts and work orders, and act as liaison to the customer. They will also work with the field operations teams to ensure field service activities are completed as promised while they conduct the work and prepare final reports at the completion of each project.

Account manager will be an active participant in conferences and trade associations and look for creative ways to collaborate with municipalities, regulatory agencies and insurance providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contact and establish relationships with utility Public Works and Water District Leadership teams. Share the benefits of the new technologies and demonstrate the proven methods that will greatly improve and enhance their annual system O&M obligations.
  • Develop and manage territory/account planning and closely track each business opportunity.
  • Provide sales presence at client & prospective client meetings and tradeshows.
  • Manage the stages of the sales process, and report on key sales performance metrics.
  • Meet or exceed territory sales goals through prospecting, nurturing and winning both repeat and new revenue business.
  • Ongoing learning and utilization of advanced sales, communications and business skills to position appropriate solutions, overcome objections and close the sale.
  • Provide strong leadership and guidance in the development of current and future commercial interests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in a business-to-business (B2B) or business-to-government (B2G) environment.
  • Experience with high dollar and long sales cycle products.
  • Working knowledge of IOT, Digital Twin, and Metaverse concepts and the ability to explain them to others.
  • Familiarity with GPR (Ground Penetrating Radar) systems.
  • Familiarity with GIS and online mapping systems.
  • Understanding of how to identify prospective customers through general marketing databases.
  • Strong core values of service, honesty, and self-directed hard work.
  • Excellent interpersonal, adaptable and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including senior management.
  • Thrives in a rapidly growing and dynamic company environment.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a science, construction management, engineering or business.

Salary:

  • $130,000 -$150,000
