Training Project Assistants (TPAs)

Introduction:

Fulcrum Recruitment, LLC. has an excellent opportunity for high-potential individuals with the right character traits to succeed in the training and security advising field. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with a variety of backgrounds and education levels to join a team of Training Project Assistants (TPAs). TPAs will be selected and trained by Fulcrum and upon successful completion of all required instruction will be full-time employees of Fulcrum Recruitment’s parent company. Under the parent company, TPAs will then travel to various client locations throughout the US to provide tailored instruction to meet client-specific needs. While in training, candidates will receive a stipend/cost of living allowance of $260 per working day as a student. Following training, successful graduates can expect a salary range of $80,000 to $85,000 with a comprehensive benefits package with ample time off and the opportunity for career advancement. Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in an Anaheim office. No remote opportunities.
  • Associate’s degree or higher desired but not required.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening test and/or background check.
  • Must have a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record and own/lease a reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
  • Ability to rent and drive a rental vehicle.
  • Some computer skills required.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to travel domestically for up to 30% - 40% of the year. Each trip requires being away for one to three weeks to include weekends.
  • Must meet physical demands outlined below.

Physical Demands:

  • Keen or correctable vision abilities to include close, distance, color vision, peripheral as well as depth perception, and the ability to adjust and/or focus.
  • Ability to listen through headphones (would require removal of hearing aids).
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that may require walking up to 2 miles at a time, up to 6 miles per day at a pace that may vary from slow to brisk.
  • Occasionally required to carry a backpack (less than 15 pounds) while walking.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely in all weather and lighting conditions without vehicle modifications.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions outdoors to include extreme heat, cold, rain and humidity.
  • Frequently required to climb hills/stairs at a varied pace.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that will require prolonged standing, walking and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Pre-Employment Background and Training: Potential new hires in these positions are required to pass a pre-employment background check and pass a seven-week paid training course as a condition of employment. A final appointment cannot be made unless the eligible trainee has passed the background check and successfully completed the training course.

Salary and Benefits: Once successfully completed, the candidate will be eligible for a permanent position. While in training, candidates will be paid a stipend of $260 per working day. The training will prepare the graduate for positions with a salary range of $80,000 to $85,000. The salary determination process will be discussed during interviews.
