We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal
candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and proven experience in project
management, particularly in packaged solutions for the power generation and oil & gas industries.
This role involves overseeing project life cycles from conception through completion, ensuring that
projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while achieving project objectives.
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop skid systems. Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and facilitating communication among team members, clients, and suppliers.
  • Cost Management: Analyze project costs and develop budget estimates. Identify and mitigate potential cost overruns through effective planning and resource management.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate project risks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize processes and improve efficiency in skid manufacturing and project execution.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation including design specifications, project plans, and progress reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in project engineering.
  • Proven leadership experience with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
