Our client in the industrial automation industry is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting multiple project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Job Title: Project Engineer Location: Houston, TX Pay Range: $60.00-70.00 per hour What's the Job? Perform system engineering for automation process control projects based on programmable controllers, operator/field device, instrumentation, etc. Design, implement, and test control and automation systems working in a project team environment. Design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and/or prepare studies and analyze existing systems. Determine system specifications and coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identify, analyze and resolve program support deficiencies. Develop and recommend corrective actions. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline or equivalent Minimum of 5 years related experience in control systems engineering which relates to industrial automation systems (BPCS, CCS, SIS, BMS, HIPPS). Minimum of 5 years related experience in electrical design, including schematics and panel layout; programming PLC's and HMI's or DCS. Ability to design utilizing ACAD electrical (optional). Must be available and willing to work overtime on occasion meet customer project commitments. What's in it for me?
