Job DescriptionJob Description

The Processor is integral to the real estate transaction process. The processor facilitates the necessary steps to clear titles, prepares the final closing documents, and ensures that all financial transactions related to the title transfer are processed correctly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with real estate agents, lenders, and attorneys.
  • Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of documents to verify the accuracy of property records, including ownership, liens, and easements.
  • Research and verify the accuracy of documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements needed to produce a clear title
  • Enter and submit title documents into Qualia
  • Work with the title examiner to prepare the title insurance policy and also work with the closer to prepare real estate settlement statements and Closing Disclosures
  • Ensure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and coordinate with loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to be sure all underwriting commitments have been satisfied

 

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required- Some college preferred
• Three years of experience with real estate transactions, title processing, and title company pre-processing is desired
• Superb research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills
• Computer proficiency with numerous programs, including MS Office, is needed
