Job DescriptionJob Description

***What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer
****Develop and execute trial plans.
****Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.
****Work directly on 3D composites processing equipment and provide “hands on” support to manufacturing and process engineers.
****Analyze test data of newly created products and raw materials.
****Advance Technical Readiness and Manufacturing Readiness Levels.
****Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.
****Conduct material characterizations for FEA modeling.
****Research new composites materials and novel processes.
****Create work instructions and SOP’s for Quality System.

Education:
****Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Engineering Technology or relevant/related disciplines

Skills/Knowledge:
****Must be a technologist/engineer who has mold design and making experience
****Must have process knowledge to cast parts with 2-part chemistries
****Working knowledge of composites, textiles, foam, coating, and other processing equipment.
****Working knowledge of materials testing equipment.
****Eagerness to learn and explore advanced 3D composites, textile processes, and other Additive Manufacturing processes.
****Working knowledge of advance fiber placement systems is desirable.
****Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
****Effective team player, with strong critical thinking skills.
****Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
****Ability to create and read 3D Modeling is highly desired.

****5+ years of prior relevant experience
