Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing the development team in the design, integration, testing, and debugging of applications. The candidate will also coordinate the development staffs schedule and ensure effective communication between team members and other IT functional areas. Additionally, will be expected to provide feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement and act as a technical mentor and adviser.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prototyping application changes and effectively presenting proposals to business partners.
  • Comprehending project requirements and documenting system architecture using various diagrams tailored to different stakeholders' technical understanding levels.
  • Oversee the development of robust and scalable applications using .NET, C#, and MS SQL Server.
  • Directing the development team in the design, integration, testing, and debugging of applications.
  • Coordinate the development staff's schedule and ensure effective communication between team members and other IT functional areas.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process and product improvement and act as a technical mentor and adviser.
  • Manage the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Lead the development and integration of APIs, ensuring seamless communication between different systems.
  • Perform code reviews, and improve standards to assure compliance.
  • Managing work with TFS, Azure DevOps or other source control.
  • Firm understanding of database systems and structures.
  • Assist in deployment to Azure or other cloud environments.
  • Mentor and guide a team of developers, providing technical expertise and fostering a collaborative environment

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing complex solutions in various languages (e.g. C#, Java).
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven success as a technical team leader.
  • Expertise in full-stack design and development, with expertise in SASS, CSS, HTML, Angular, Typescript, and .NET (versions 4 through 8) using C# and VB.NET.
  • Expertise in SQL Server, including database design and optimization.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and experience in leading Agile teams.
  • Proficient with Unit Testing and Coding Best Practices for Unit Tests.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Works well in a team environment and good time-management skills.
