About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our company's software applications, ensuring they are scalable, reliable, and secure. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, team members, and customers to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Ensure the quality, usability, and performance of software solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and design sessions to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with architecture and design.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
  • Preferred experience inside a heavily regulated environment.
  • Fluency and specialization with at least two modern languages such as Java, NodeJS, Python, Typescript or C# including object-oriented design.
  • Experience with a modern UI framework such as React or Vue.
  • Experience in building products using micro-service oriented architecture and extensible REST APIs.
  • Experience in serverless environments.
  • Experience building the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
  • Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
  • Fluency in DevOps Concepts, Cloud Architecture, and AWS DevOps Operational Framework.
  • Experience in leveraging Bash scripting.
  • Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
  • Experience in security protocols and products: Understanding of ASAML, OAuth, etc.
  • Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle (task management, source code, building, deployment, operations, real-time communication).
  • Enterprise level design documentation.
  • Risk assessment.
  • Strong problem-solving ability.
