System Administrator/FT Onsite/Nashua

Role:
Responsible for the administration, implementation, support, and maintenance of the network infrastructure components on-prem and off-prem (cloud). Ensures they are maintained and configured optimally to support the business and remain in compliance. Coordinates network changes, patches, and upgrades with the rest of the Information Technology (IT) team. Assists them with support, maintenance and optimization of core network services, devices, and communications systems. Works alongside team to provide logistical support, respond to tickets, document changes, and assist with testing, assessment, diagnosis and resolution of network service outages and incidents. Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the credit union’s Entra (Azure) and Microsoft O365 environment ensuring. the smooth operation of these systems running efficiently and effectively.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Provide level 1 and 2 tier response for users requiring assistance with IT issues. Travel to branches may be required on a needy basis. Provide on-call coverage support.
Supports and manages network in collaboration with IT management and third parties. Performs diagnostics of network issues, providing support to the business. Analyze and evaluate network performance including availability, and latency. Configuring network specifications including interface configuration, routing protocols, VLAN management, ACLs. Assigns IP addresses, saves device configurations. Assists with making changes to network. Works with our MSP networking vendors to assist with advanced administration of our network including remote connectivity, branch SD-WAN network, internet availability, and vendor VPNs.
Assists IT management with the administration of the Entra (Azure) environment, including Microsoft O365 components and SharePoint deployment. Including researching, recommending, and developing new Microsoft or other technologies to improve the cloud environment. Participate in analysis and design of existing and alternative solutions.
Supports the System Administrator with administration tasks independently such as system monitoring, backups, application troubleshooting, and projects of all sizes.
Participates in network Disaster Recovery Planning, Testing, Documentation creation, process maintenance and modification, planning, capacity, RPO & RTO.
Performs other related duties as assigned, travels between branches as needed and participate on-call coverage support.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
Two (2) to three (3) years of similar or related experience. Network of Systems administration, Entra (Azure)/O365 administration in a complex hybrid environment, VMware Administration, Cisco environments, Firewalls, implementation and administration of a Windows Domain environment, experience with networks (LAN, SD-WAN), network protocols, and desktop support.
Education
Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field). Certifications on Entra (Azure) or Microsoft related are a plus.

Other Skills
1.Must be able to work and travel independently and use general office equipment.
2.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3.One or more Microsoft Technical Certifications related to Windows or Network Administration.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to move equipment as required to complete assigned installation and troubleshooting tasks. Lift weight 50 pounds regularly.
Work Environment
Reliable transportation and the ability to drive among the Credit Union branches/locations as projects and assignments dictate. This may include, having transportation to outside training courses, when required.
Due to the nature of the Information Technology group activities, must be willing to work off-hours to implement projects and/or solve technical problems so as to minimize impact on members and users during normal banking hours.
