Job Details:
- Assist special education teachers in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with diverse learning needs
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students in developing academic and social skills
- Monitor and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-issued paraprofessional certification and/or at least 60 credit hours toward a college degree
- Experience with students who have special needs, specifically those with behavioral disorders, required
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, passion, and a genuine interest in working with children
