About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Wooster Community Hospital. As a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac and vascular conditions. You will work closely with physicians, radiologic technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality patient care. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are willing to train a Radiologic Technologist that has the correct attitude and willingness to learn.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current State of Ohio licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
  • Live close to hospital, must be available within 30 minutes or less in all weather
  • Willing to train the right radiologic technologist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the Cath Lab to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac and vascular conditions
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing imaging guidance
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during procedures
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of procedures performed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality patient care
  • Will be on-call, must be available within 30 minutes or less in all weather
  • Subject to short term hour reduction during periods of downtime when applicable

Skills:

As a Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist, you will use your technical expertise to perform diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures and provide imaging guidance during procedures. You will also use your communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with other healthcare professionals and ensure the highest quality patient care. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential skills for success in this role. Additionally, experience with advanced imaging techniques and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are highly valued.
