A-Line Staffing is now hiring Community Relations Representatives in Pierce, Thurston, and Clark County, WA. The Community Relations Representative would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Community Relations Representative Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $25.00 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Community Relations Representative Highlights

  • Combination of remote work and field work in Pierce, Thurston, and Clark County, WA
  • Full-time 40 hours/week including some weekends

Hours: 8:00 – 5:00 CST with some evenings and weekends required for specific events

Community Relations Representative Responsibilities

  • Attend community and health events to distribute Health Plan information – up to 50% travel required
  • Maintain positive relationship in the community including providers, members and prospects
  • Scheduling social media posts with marketing in advance of outreach events (before, during & after events)
  • Contribute to the attainment of member growth goals
  • Identify and develop relationships with new community contacts and organizations to pursue outreach engagements
  • Develop and implement promotional plan for new outreach opportunities
  • Identify and coordinate outreach activities and necessary materials at community and health events
  • Support manager with scheduling and delivery of health education presentations
  • Organize Health Plan staff and other resources in the participation and the support of select community events and activities
  • Distribute written material to customers who call in and request
  • Support Health Plan sponsored programs in schools

Community Relations Representative Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in the healthcare field required
  • Ability to travel throughout Pierce, Thurston, and Clark County, WA for community events
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and set up tables and tent for community events
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation (mileage is reimbursed)
  • High School Diploma or GED

Community Relations Representative Preferred Qualifications

  • Medicare/Medicaid knowledge and experience
  • Critical thinking / Problem solving skills
  • Dependability / flexibility
