As the Events Manager reporting to the Senior Manager of Events and Engagement, you'll support the planning and execution of assigned corporate and client-facing events, contributing to the overall events strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and oversee event budgets and logistics, ensuring a seamless experience across all engagements. This role offers opportunities to develop leadership skills and advance within the events and engagement team.

Responsibilities

  • Event Strategy & Execution: Support the development and execution of event strategies that align with business goals and audience needs, working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure that events effectively communicate our value proposition and engage target audiences.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations: Manage relationships with vendors, partners, and contractors to execute top-tier events.
  • Event Operations: Oversee all logistical aspects of event planning, from venue selection and contract negotiation to on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Performance Tracking: Define KPIs, measure event success, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Leadership Support: Act as a point of coordination for event teams, ensuring alignment and effective execution.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing, ideally in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Experience managing large-scale events and working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Record of managing logistics for booths, VIP events, etc., at large tradeshows and conferences.
  • Strong understanding of customer/prospect engagement tactics.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication abilities, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
  • Experience using CRM systems and event management and reporting tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to work successfully in a fully remote environment when not at an event site.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to support sales teams on-site and guide them through lead capture and generation tactics.
  • Essential physical requirements include climbing, standing, stooping, lifting, and typing.
  • Physical effort/lifting 10-40% of the time lifting up to 50 pounds and rarely lifting or moving more than 50 pounds.
  • During events, work weekends, nights, and be on-call.
  • Travel requirements 20-40% of the time.

Compensation Structure

  • On Target Earnings: $75,000.00 – $90,000.00 (dependent upon base salary)
  • Base Salary: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 (commensurate with experience)
