California Pools & Landscape is a full-service Design-Build company, proudly serving the metro Phoenix area for over thirty six years. We are searching for new team members that can help us continue to grow. As a Designer, you will be responsible for meeting potential leads and creating an outdoor paradise for their family and friends to enjoy. Typical Job Tasks:

  • Creating conceptual drawings using hand-drawn concepts and/or computer-aided design programs such as Pool Studio
  • Surveying prospective sites
  • Discussing scope of work with clients
  • Producing detailed contracts and estimated costs
  • Presenting proposals to clients for approval
  • Maintaining communication with the client as projects progress
  • Choosing plant material that will suit the land type and the needs of the site
  • Liaising with other professionals for custom bids

Requirements:

  • Creativity and imagination
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Negotiation and leadership ability
  • An eye for detail
  • Lateral and spatial thinking
  • Drawing and IT skills, including the ability to use computer-aided design (Pool Studio)
  • Client management skills
  • Must possess reliable automobile/ Current AZ License and clean driving record

Preferred Experience:

  • Pool and/or Landscape Design and Sales Experience
  • Pool Studio / AutoCAD
  • Experience with Architecture/Landscape Architecture is a plus
  • Hand Graphic Abilities (Drawing/Sketching) is a plus

Pay Rate: Commission Sales Position with BASE SALARY OPTION (Typical Range $80,000 to $150,000/Year). Phone, Lap Top, and Pool Studio Software are Provided. Top 30% of our sales team currently are paid monthly bonuses, receive the use of company vehicles, and attend 1-2 sales trips per year.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
