Job Title: Compliance Attorney – New Jersey

Overview: We are Brandon J. Broderick Attorney at Law, one of the fastest growing Law Firms in the Tri-state area. We are seeking a highly skilled an experienced Compliance Attorney to join our personal injury law firm in New Jersey. This is a brand-new role that will be responsible for overseeing all compliance matters within the firm, ensuring that the full compliance process is carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Manage compliance for a high volume of personal injury cases, ensuring that all deadlines and requirements are met, monitoring cases to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

- Pulling and analyzing data related to accidents, running reports, and working with our case management software.

- Handling and managing torts, including conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and providing guidance on tort related matters.

- Collaborating closely with our seasoned paralegal, who will assist with the administrative tasks and document management.

- Staying up to date with changes in personal injury law, regulations, and legal precedents, and implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.

- Conducting internal audits and reviews to identify areas of improvement and developing strategies to enhance compliance processes.

- Providing training and guidance to the firm's staff on compliance policies and procedures.

- Assisting with the development and implementation of compliance related policies, protocols, and best practices

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

- Minimum of seven years of experience working in a personal injury law firm, handling a diverse range of personal injury cases. Alternatively, five or more years of experience may be considered if the candidate has handled a high volume of personal injury cases.

- Sound knowledge and understanding of personal injury law, regulations, and compliance requirements.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret complex data and legal documents.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure deadlines are consistently met.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and clients.

- Detail oriented and able to work independently while also being a team player.

- Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
