Tube Production Manager
**THIS IS AN ON-SITE POSITION**
Rad Source Technologies is looking for a Tube Production Manager to lead the X-Ray Emitter Production Team. This is a dynamic role that works with cross functional teams to manage and improve X-Ray Emitter Production. This role will be to manage the staff of assembly technicians responsible and for meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost targets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of technicians responsible for X-Ray tube assembly.
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop, deploy, and drive Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost KPI’s and goals.
- Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes.
- Ensure manufacturing processes, and equipment, comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Provide manufacturability feedback for design and process verification builds.
- Develop detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
- Present data findings and recommendations to management team.
- Develop and implement cost-saving & avoidance measures.
- Create and maintain process routings.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use structured problem-solving methods and techniques.
- Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control protocols.
- Hands on management skills.
- Strong organizational skills, documentation practices and communication skills.
- Proficient using Microsoft Word™ and Excel™.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling software.
- Practitioner of Lean Six Sigma.
Preferred Qualifications (a plus):
- Familiarity with high and ultra-high vacuum systems.
- Experience in an ISO-7 (Class 10,000) clean room.
- Experience with NetSuite.
- Experience with turbo pumps.
- Experience with ion pumps and SPCs.
- Experience working around high voltage systems.
- Prefer knowledge of x-ray producing devices, radiation shielded enclosure, radiation detectors.
- Bilingual - English & Spanish.
