Are you ready to lead in the dynamic world of intermodal logistics or channel solutions? ORBCOMM, a market leader in IoT technology, is looking for a passionate Sr. Product Manager to help us maintain our leadership and drive business growth in the domestic intermodal sector and our channel solutions sector.

You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Sales, and external stakeholders to shape the success of your product line and drive revenue growth.

With a flexible hybrid working schedule, you can enjoy the best of both worlds—engaging in-person collaboration at either our Sterling, VA or Ottawa, ON office, while also enjoying the autonomy and comfort of remote work 


What You’ll Do:

  • Market Research: Identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape, focusing on technologies used in intermodal containers or channel solutions.
  • Customer Engagement: Gather feedback and ensure our products deliver maximum value.
  • Roadmap Definition: Align product requirements with our Transportation Strategy and market trends.
  • Product Development: Work with cross-functional teams to define and develop products focused on real-time tracking, container monitoring, and value-added solutions like asset utilization and security solutions.
  • Go-to-Market: Drive pricing, positioning, and promotion for successful product launches.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze key metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve product offerings.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate progress effectively with all stakeholders.

Who You Are:

You’re a strategic thinker with a knack for operational excellence, ready to tackle multiple priorities with agility and grace. If you have:  

  • Industry Experience: Strong background in the transportation industry, with specific knowledge of intermodal logistics or focus on channel partnerships.
  • Product Management: Preferred experience in Product Management in Hardware and Software.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability and analytical business skills.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to customer and non-customer sites (10%-20%).
  • An inspiring portfolio showcasing products you have successfully grown in market share and revenue.
