Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tool & Die Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and metalworking, specializing in the setup, maintenance, and repair of tools, dies, and molds used in production processes. As a Tool & Die Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the precise and efficient operation of tooling equipment to produce high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tool Setup & Maintenance: Set up, adjust, and maintain various tools and dies used in manufacturing processes such as stamping, injection molding, die casting, or machining.
  • Tool Repair: Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair worn or damaged tools, dies, and molds to ensure they meet required specifications and production standards.
  • Precision Measurements: Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure the tools and dies conform to tight tolerances and specifications.
  • Design & Modification: Work with engineers and designers to develop new tooling, modify existing tools, or improve tooling design for better efficiency, cost-effectiveness, or product quality.
  • Production Support: Provide technical support to the production team to resolve tooling-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production flow.
  • Documentation & Records: Maintain accurate records of tool and die maintenance, repairs, and modifications to comply with safety and quality standards.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure that tools and dies produce parts that meet customer and regulatory specifications, identifying and addressing potential defects in the process.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
