Job Summary

The Senior Product Validation Engineer will lead and contribute to productization of SiTime’s revolutionary timing devices. In this highly visible role, we are looking for passionate, self-starters who can work cross-functionally to ensure system-level performance of our products and help solve the world’s toughest timing problems. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical leader for product validation, characterization, and release-to-production of MEMS-based timing products.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams, vendors, and manage projects across different sites.
  • Plan and execute device verification and characterization.
  • Work with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon and recommend design improvements for enhanced performance.
  • Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware to enable automated data acquisition & analysis.
  • Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments.
  • Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues.
  • Innovate and prototype system architectures and new technologies for next-generation products.

Qualifications & Requirement:

  • MS or PhD in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Exceptional candidates with other backgrounds will be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience in the productization of semiconductor sensor-based devices
  • Experience leading engineering project teams and creating and executing verification and characterization plans.
  • Strong, fundamental knowledge of mixed signal circuits.
  • Hands-on experience with electronics lab instrumentation. Prior experience with metrology systems for evaluating timing parameters is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent programming skills and prior experience with MATLAB and/or Python.
  • Strong statistical analysis skills.

Base pay is one part of SiTime’s Total Rewards Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and equity-based compensation.
