Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our Solar On Earth team The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in assigned territories throughout Maine You will be the face of the company, driving sales and representing our brand in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Prospect, identify, and secure new customers by cold calling, networking, and building relationships with key decisionmakers.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement sales plans to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- Territory Management: Manage assigned territory, including travel to client sites, to ensure complete coverage and maximum sales potential.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape to offer expert advice to customers.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline management in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the inside sales team, customer service, and operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Sales experience, outside a plus
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to travel (100% travel) within assigned territory (valid driver’s license required).Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM
- Preferred: Knowledge of the Maine market, and a network of contacts within the region
