Key Responsibilities

As part of the Northpoint AM team, you’ll take on several exciting and critical projects that will shape our technology and service offerings. Key responsibilities include:

Platform Integration & Vendor Management

  • Interface with Vendors: Serve as the point of contact for platform representatives (e.g., Propertyware, Property Meld, Z-Inspector, Findigs), ensuring seamless integration and adoption of newly onboarded vendors and solutions.

  • Integration Onboarding: Develop and implement onboarding solutions for new vendor platforms, ensuring that each tool is integrated into our current stack and operational workflows.

  • Architecture Ownership: Oversee the architecture of our entire tech stack, ensuring optimal integration, scalability, and security across platforms.

Project Management & Task Prioritization

  • Project Leadership: Use tools like MS Project to manage concurrent projects, balancing priorities and deadlines, and keeping everything on track.

  • Team Building: Help grow and manage engineering teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across projects.

  • Managing Client Expectations: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations and business demands.

Automation & AI Integration

  • Automation of Workflows: Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline business processes, from marketing audits (automating tour links and pricing updates) to triggering new actions and tasks across platforms like Monday.com.

  • AI-Driven Business Development: Support the business development team by integrating AI to automate CRM tasks, collect and analyze customer data, and improve customer lifecycle management.

  • Automate ETL Processes: Develop automated ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to keep our dashboards updated with real-time data and ensure accurate, up-to-date reporting.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Data Centralization: Work on the development of tools like PropertyPull Explorer, which will centralize data from platforms like TT, Findigs, Box, price history, marketing, and reporting systems.

  • Companion App Development: Enhance our Companion App by organizing tasks, timestamping actions, and prompting new tasks based on property data. This will help improve workflow efficiency and provide historical insights.

  • Client Dashboard Development: Build out client-facing dashboards with custom reporting features that cater to the specific needs of our institutional clients, especially around KPIs and metrics for property management.

  • Business Metrics & Analytics: Drive the creation of dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Google Analytics, and other platforms to track key business development metrics and trends over time.

Database & Security Management

  • SQL & Data Warehouse Management: Maintain and optimize our SQL Server and data warehouse infrastructure, ensuring data security, integrity, and scalability.

  • Secure Data Handling: Implement robust security protocols to safeguard client and company data, especially in handling sensitive tenant, financial, and property information.

Client-Focused Innovation

  • Client Solutions Development: Architect and develop technology solutions that will not only improve internal operations but also become part of our client service offerings, particularly around reporting, dashboarding, and automation.

  • Future-Proof Tech Stack: Strategically implement AI and automation to ensure our tech stack is future-proof, scalable, and ready to support Northpoint AM’s long-term vision for client solutions.

What We Expect from You

  • Experience in software development with a strong understanding of property management systems and business operations.

  • Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Node.js for developing and integrating custom solutions.

  • Experience in SQL Server, data warehousing, and secure data handling, with a solid grasp of ETL pipelines.

  • Strong skills in project management (MS Project or similar), especially in managing multiple projects simultaneously and keeping them on track.

  • Familiarity with platforms such as Propertyware, Property Meld, Z-Inspector, Lead Simple, and Findigs, and the ability to manage vendor integrations.

  • Dashboard and reporting experience with Power BI, Google Analytics, or similar tools for creating insightful business and client reports.

  • Experience with AI and automation tools for business process optimization and system integration (including CRM automations, marketing analytics, and more).

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and effective execution of projects.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for finding creative solutions and workarounds when needed.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in meeting high client expectations and navigating complex project demands.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Monday.com or similar tools for process automation and project management.

  • Knowledge of IoT systems or experience with building mobile apps for property management solutions (e.g., the Companion App).

  • Strong background in cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and an understanding of how to scale applications efficiently.
