Physical Therapy Aide/Personal Trainer

Physiofitness Physical Therapy has an excellent opportunity for a part-time Physical Therapy Aide/Personal Trainer. We are a team of professional movement specialists with a focus on manual based therapy and strength conditioning. You will be working side-by-side with a dynamic group of therapists and trainers so outstanding communication and follow up skills are a must.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corrective exercise, previous experience in personal training and/or physical therapy, and exceptional interpersonal skills. This role is perfect for recent graduates aspiring to enter physical therapy school or those looking to advance their skills in the health and fitness industry.
Responsibilities:
- Guide patients through rehabilitative exercises and personalized strength programs.
- Ensure patient safety and success in therapeutic exercises.
- Identify dysfunctional movement patterns and provide appropriate corrective measures.
- Assist physical therapists with therapeutic modalities and clinical procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science.
- Preferred certifications: NASM-CES, NSCA, or ACE personal training.
- 2 years of one-on-one fitness training experience preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in corrective exercise or functional training (e.g., NASM-CES, FMS, FRC).
- Familiarity with standard physical therapy modalities.
