Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to create Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
  • Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention programs and analyze data for effectiveness.
  • Supervise and train behavior technicians and support team members.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and professionals to provide holistic behavioral support.
  • Lead by example, performing Lead Registered Behavior Technician functions as needed.
  • Provide de-escalation support, adhering to BACB Ethics Code for Behavioral Analysts.
  • Document client sessions and progress, analyze data, and review clinic procedures.
  • Deliver one-on-one therapy in various settings, including homes, schools, and communities.
  • Guide and mentor Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians.
  • Ensure coordinated client care with team members, including BTs, RBTs, and allied therapists.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards per BACB guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders on progress and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation, adhering to all policies and regulations.
  • Ensure client safety and follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications:

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Experience with FBAs and developing behavior intervention plans
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Knowledge of behavior analysis ethical guidelines
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Jewish community and various age groups
  • Familiarity with ABA in diverse settings (schools, homes, communities)
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis software
