Responsibilities:
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to develop effective behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention programs. Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans. 
  • Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians and other team members.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to behavior support.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and ability to execute all job functions of Lead Registered Behavioral Technician
  • Implement Behavior Intervention Plans and Individual Treatment Plans to address specific behavioral goals and objectives. 
  • Provide de-escalation support during crisis situations adherent to BACB Ethics Code for Behavioral Analysts as advised by supervising BCBA.
  • Maintaining detailed notes regarding sessions with clients and clinic employees. Analyzing data as needed
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the clinic's layout and facilities.
  • Review existing procedures for client intake, therapy sessions, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with existing staff to understand the current client base.
  • Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy sessions with clients in various settings, including home, school, or community settings. 
  • Provide training and leadership to Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians
  • Collect accurate and reliable data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions. 
  • Assist in the assessment and evaluation of client behavior by conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other relevant assessments. 
  • Collaborate with other members of the therapy team, including BTs, RBTs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and educators to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients. 
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations, including those set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). 
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with best practices in behavior therapy. 
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders to provide updates on progress, discuss treatment plans, and address any concerns or questions. 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, progress reports, and other relevant paperwork in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. 
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions, adhering to BACB state and local safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of ethical guidelines and standards related to behavior analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working with the Jewish community and diverse age groups.
  • Familiarity with the implementation of applied behavior analysis in various settings (e.g., schools, homes, community).
  • Experience using technology and software for data collection and analysis.
