What are we looking to add to our team?    

We're looking for a Principal Product Manager to own multiple areas within our talent management solution, SeekOut Grow. Customers use SeekOut Grow to match employees with the right opportunities, upskill employees, and support their career development within their company.  

You will be driving exciting new solutions from the ground up that will bring AI and talent intelligence into major talent practices such as internal staffing, career mobility, upskilling, etc.

What you will be doing:     
  • Break New Grounds: Work closely with prospects and customers to discover unmet needs, define new solutions, and iterate to find product-market-fit.
  • Set Vision and Strategy: Set product vision, strategy and roadmap, that will deliver substantial differentiation and customer impact.
  • Manage Product Lifecycle: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept and definition through development, launch, and post-launch iteration. Collaborate closely with engineering and design teams to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Drive Effective Decision Making: Synthesize insights from discovery and conceptualization. Drive effective decision-making, informed by key user journeys, technical insights, and product strategy. Balance design and technical tradeoffs, finding creative ways to solve customer needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with prospects, customers, and users to understand their pains, needs, and concerns. Be the voice of the customer in product discussions. Represent SeekOut in customer meetings and at industry events.
You will be a great match if you have:    
  • Experienced with New Product Development: 8+ years of experience in product management with successful examples of creating 0-to-1 products, preferrably in early-stage startups or a "startup teams" in larger organizations.
  • Thrive in a dynamic, changing environment: Enjoy dealing with the ambiguity associated with "breaking new ground". Know how to optimize for velocity on building the right product. Comfortable pivoting based on external signals.
  • Big-Picture and Detail-Oriented: Motivated with the big picture and can articulate strategy with a variety of internal and external audiences, and at the same time, can get into the details of a product spec with an eye for frictionless user experience and clear customer value.
  • Scrappy and Inventive: Don't pattern match, but rather leverage experience and then test strategies rigorously. Pivot when necessary. Never have a "not my job" mentality.
  • Passionate about UX: Keen customer empathy, design thinking, and UX instincts. Experienced in building beautiful, simple user experiences in collaboration with designers.
  • Ownership and Drive: A strong sense of ownership and drive for results. Ability to rally the team and resolve conflicts.
  • Problem Solver: Break down complex problems into actionable steps that drive product development at startup speed. Proactively move initiatives forward with limited direction.
  • Highly Collaborative: Care about teammates, and uplift and improve the team. Are highly-collaborative and a humble, and trusted team leader.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong communication skills (written, verbal, visual) for both internal and external audiences.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with SaaS products in areas such as Search, AI, ML, NLP, HR Tech, or Recruiting.

Base Salary Hiring Range: $144,260 to $200,000 annually
