Job DescriptionJob Description

The Sr. Client Onboarding Specialist is responsible for auditing and validating client benefit setups, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual guidelines, while collaborating with internal teams to improve process efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits of healthcare client benefit setups to ensure accuracy and compliance with guidelines.
  • Prepare and execute comprehensive claims test scenarios to validate benefit setups for medical and ancillary products.
  • Document audit findings and create detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide support for inquiries related to benefit changes from account executives, brokers, and enrollment teams.
  • Maintain positive client relationships and effectively communicate audit results and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, 3-4 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in benefits, claims processing, auditing, or quality review within the healthcare industry.
  • Experience with HealthRules Manager or similar benefits and claims processing software is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of audit processes, documentation organization, and best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare products, benefits, and systems.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems quickly.
