Position Overview:
On Demand Staffing is seeking an Event Program Manager to oversee operations for large-scale event properties throughout Indianapolis. This individual will provide high-level oversight, manage multiple teams, and ensure the seamless execution of events. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate exceptional leadership and organizational skills. Must be flexible to work event shift hours and available to work days, evenings, weekends, and sometimes overnight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage and support managers, supervisors, and team leads across multiple event properties.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain detailed schedules for all properties, managers, and key personnel.
  • Event Oversight: Ensure smooth operations at events through high-level management, coordination, and problem-solving.
  • On-Call Availability: Be available during events, including overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and long hours, to address and resolve operational challenges.
  • Operational Execution: Maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness across all properties, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Flexibility: Adapt to changing schedules, last-minute requests, and operational needs with a positive attitude and solution-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event management, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and multiple locations.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Comfortable working on feet for extended periods and managing physically demanding tasks.
  • Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and long hours as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in staffing or workforce solutions is a plus.
  • Familiarity with large-scale event operations in the Indianapolis area.
