Line Chef

Essential expectations and standards of this position require, but are not limited to:
*Ensure ingredients and final service products are fresh to standard.
*Follow ALL recipes including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients.
*Uphold the daily standard that is Voodoo Brewing Company introduced by the Ownership and Management Team.
*Maintain a clean and safe work area including: handling utensils, equipment, work area and storage areas.
*Maintain a high standard in regards to state safety and sanitation expectations.
*Monitor station inventory levels.
*Coordinate with the chefs and fellow team members on special events and needs for service.
*Have excellent communication skills.
*Keep up with the company standards at all times.
*Label and Stock ALL ingredients and prepped items.
*Inspect your station to ensure all items are up to the chefs and your standards.
*Must be knowledgeable in using equipment such as: grill, saute, oven, broiler, fryer, etc.
*Must have a "Can-do attitude" and work very strong with team members and management.
*Have the mindset of looking out for the restaurant and not just your assigned tasks.
*Manage all kitchen activities to ensure minimum losses due to waste and breakage.
