The firm operates across the US from various offices in major citiesKey Responsibilities:Oversee the accounting for a portfolio of properties and ensure transactions are recorded in accordance with fair value GAAP.Perform month-end/year-end closing functions like cash/balance sheet reconciliations, and calculating property and construction management fees.Assist with planning and coordination of audits and year-end accounting, including drafting footnote disclosure for property-level properties.Manage relationships with outsourced accounting providers and oversee third-party operators.Mentor, train, and supervise existing and new team members.RequirementsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics, with a minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising or leading a team of accountants.CPA or CPA Candidate preferred.Real estate experience in commercial is strongly preferred.Must have experience in Excel, Word, and Outlook, and familiarity with MRI and Nexus.Unique Selling Points:Work with a multi-disciplinary real estate investment firm with a successful track record in innovation markets.Contribute to a company that values ingenuity, growth, and well-being of all people.Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule and the benefit of unlimited PTO.If interested, please contact Yuzo Shimura on LinkedIn at Robert Half Job typePerm
